'Sonoma Valley Bliss' was a project addressing the rapid proliferation of new digital technologies and media within today's society and their increasingly prevalent position as mediators for our experience of our everyday lives. The effect of this is a growing disconnect in our experience of the world around us, particularly our experience of the natural world.
It's large size and crumpled facade highlights the materiality of the paper as distinct from the different spaces implied by the image (the flat computer screen) In this way way even physical space itself becomes an absurd extension of web based cultural detritus.
